Can I replace the power plug receptacle on the side?
The power cord does not seem to connect well with power source plug. Is this a common complaint and can it be replaced by owner?

Yes the DC-IN port can be replaced. BUT The most common problem with this machine is a spreading outer ring on the AC adapter plug. This can be squeezed back together to make it tight again. The fast, but poor way is to squeeze it with a pair of pliers testing for tightness and then doing it again. The professional way is to wrap some wire around it and twist the wire till it's closed enough for a good fit.
