Why won't my kindle come on? Has screen that says "kindle".
When power button is pushed, green light comes on but nothing else happens. Instead of the usual book advertisement, the screen has the "kindle" word and logo.

Try to reset your Kindle.
Here is a link that describes the procedures on how to reset Kindles. Scroll to find the one appropriate to your model.
Be aware of what may happen to your information if you have to perform a hard reset.

There is a reset procedure available here:
