Vertical lines on screen, Disappear 15 minutes after boot.
Issue is described above. I have 4 one-pixel wide vertical lines on my Eizo SX3031W display. Since it's not crappy display i'd like to get it fixed.
The Lines start out as 4 lines, then 2 of them disappear, then only one remains for about ~15 minutes after initial monitor boot. This leads me to believe that the issue is fixable. Even moreso when the lines are either red/cyan/yellow/blue/green. that means that there's a loose connection somewhere in there. I've heard methods using Polyamide Tape to fasten the LCD Ribbon cables. though I'm not entirely sure how to proceed. Any tips would be appreciated.
Almost certain that this is called a tab bond failure and it happens due to heat-up of the monitor. The issue tends to get worse and unfixable after a certain period.
