Black screen can hear it power up
I just bought a Galaxy tab A 8.0 p355 today. After i got home, turned it on, i hear sound but black screen..

Hi Heather,
If you only bought it today, return it, as it is faulty.
Do not attempt to fix it yourself or have it fixed by someone not authorized to do so, as it is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Check the warranty statement that is written in the User Guide. It will state what you need to do in the event of a faulty unit and a warranty claim for repair/replacement.

I was going to also suggest you return it or look into a warranty claim if possible.

Hi Heather
There may be connection problem. If when you bought this was working and then suddenly stop working may be just loose cable connection inside. If you feel confident to open the tablet and see if you can disconnect and reconnect all the cables, this may help. If you don't want to mess up with it bring it to someone that is familiar with the tablet and they may be able to fix it.
