last 2days my iPhone 5s sim card is not detect auy cell is open line ....i reset once but still searching.....can't see any sim card .....i go to shop they tell me problem ni base-band chip ....
can u tell me what is base-band chip ......why my cell not detect any sim card

If you go into settings>general>about, see if it shows your IMEI # there. If it doesn't, the phone does not know which network carrier to connect to. It's pretty much like the network card.

normally when this happen the SIM card is self is dirty, try cleaning it off and placing it back in. this could of happened when the store placed the SIM card in or when it was taking out.
