Why won't my screen turn on? (Solution: Home button extension cable)

If you try to power on a device with the home button extension connected (it'll be the far one to the right at the top) to the motherboard, when there's no home button or it's broken, the device will not power on. It is not the screen, it is the home button being connected. I'm not sure why, but I thought that was mandatory to share with the community.

As soon as I disconnected the home button extension cable, the screen powered on.
