Why is my phone not charging when it's plugged in?
I've only had this phone ZTE ZMAX Z790 for a year and now it's not wanting to charge when plugged up or even anything , I've tried to leave it plugged in it wont show if it's charging ..

Have you tried a different charging cord? If you're not using the cord that came with the phone, use that one, it's the best match for you're phone. Micro usb cables are plentiful, but cheap ones are prone to failure. Also, try a different outlet plug or plug into a computer that will charge through a usb slot.

Does this phone charge thru a micro usb port? If so, check the port for damage or being loose inside the phone. Will it communicate with a computer over the cord?
the charging port could be damaged. It's actually quite common...
When I plug it in the cord wont stay plugged..
Also it wont connect to charge.
Sounds like the charging port has broken away from the contacts inside. You'll need to have that replaced. It will require microsoldering, so make sure whoever fixes it can do that.
