back light very dim and will not go brighter

back light very dim and will not go brighter

turned on computer and the back light or screen is very dim. I can read the screen it I hold it to the daylight, but it is still dim. What can I do to get the screen to brighten up?

most likely if you are unable to brighten the screen via personalization, power options or through the display options then your backlight is slowly dying and you have to replace it. i hope this helps and good luck on fixing your issue
