Replace a HDD (fusion drive) for a SSD en iMac 4k

An important question please,

I have a iMac 4k retina with fusion drive 1 TB (SSD 24GB). In the future, it is possible that can I change the HDD for a SSD? in this case, what would happen with de SSD of 64 GB?

One question more, is it very dificult change the HDD in iMac 4k? I have seen tutorials of iMac 2013. If a change the HDD for a SSD, could it happen a problem with the fan?

I have many doubts about it, thank you very much.

The 21.5" 'Thin Series' use a 2.5" SATA drive which can be replaced with either another HD or SSD unit. You will need to break the Fusion Drive set as you can't use dual SSD's within a Fusion Drive set otherwise you will encounter problems. This may not be the best answer here between the needed work opening the system and the net gain.

Presently Apple does not offer any M.2 PCIe SSD upgrades and so far no 3rd party offers anything either at this time. If you want something better I would swap out the blade SSD with a larger unit and break the Fusion Drive set letting the drive be independent, but that is something in the future when the part becomes available. Some 3rd parties are hinting something is coming real soon! Remember the custom M.2 slot is 4 lane PCIe interface is better than 6 times faster than the SATA III (6.0 Gb/s) interface.

If performance is what you are looking for now you may want to think about just getting an external Thunderbolt RAID drive. This would be faster than the internal SATA interface. Then when the PCIe SSD is offered by a 3rd party go with it.

Bro if u can open the iMac the rest is easy just disassemble it totally, then remove the flash drive and HDD hard disc. put a normal 2.5mm SSD instead of HDD then put back everything into the iMac and close the door. start the iMac by holding command + R ..... the rest u know how to do it

You do realize you're just repeating what I stated above. Its best to add a comment supporting an answer vs duplicating it.
