If the key is not responding properly, then a new keyboard will need to be replaced. You can pick these up cheaply for around £15 off ebay, just search your model with screen size and it will come up. ifixit has a guide you can follow, whilst you need to take out everything inside, the process is fairly easy if you know what you are doing.
