Can be LCD front glass replaced by full cover tempered glass?

I would like matte gold color display on my iPhone 6. I found on the internet gold color full covered tempered glass and I thought, I could replace front galss for this full covered tempered glass on LCD, and after I could apply the matte anti spy tempered glass on it. Theoretically I could reach the matte gold effect, but the problem could occur with the functioning of the display with this tempered glass.

Why would I want to change the color of that procedure ?

I could not find any colored displays for iPhone 6 and If I put a front glass and the gold full covered tempered glass on it fort the matte effect I would have to add even matte spy tempered glass as a third layer, and it would be probably too much layers and it would not look good.

So my question is whether it can be front glass replaced by full cover tempered glass? Full cover tempered glass is the same size as the front glass, I got them home and compared their sizes.

Or is there any other way ?
