Venue Pro 11 Active Stylus Stops Working After 30 minutes

I have a problem with my venue pro 11 7130.

I have a active stylus that works awesome but after about 30 minutes, weather due to heat or other things it stops working properly

The stylus starts skipping and doesn't write properly

Do you think it'll be my screen/digitaliser?

Have you tried to turn off the device, let it cool, and attempt to use it again? It may be heat related if it works after letting it cool down, or the digitizer may be bad.

yeah, when i let it cool, it generally works again
