Do coffee makers step down voltage internally?
Please excuse my unfamiliarity with the subject I am about to ask about. I really like the coffee from a Sensoe machine. It is single use, like a Kreige but without plastic waste, and the best coffee I have ever had.
These coffee machines are only sold in Europe. I could get a transformer to step up the voltage from 110 to 220V, but I was wondering if the device internally lowered voltages like the power supply in my computer does. If it did would I be able to replace with a part that was expecting 110V instead of 220V. The Senseo 7825 is the one I like to use and rated at 1450W.
Has anyone does anything like this?
