Nexus 9 Touch Screen No Longer Working

Hello,

My wife was replacing the USB/Charger board in our Nexus 9 and the smaller of the ribbon cable attachment points with the white locking mechanism was broken, it no longer locks the cable in place. Is this the problem? Or was something else damaged during the installation?

Okay, put the old board back in and the touch screen works. So self answered.
