i need help which support me to repair my htc desire which exposed to water and with SIM card not started and when i remove the SIM card it open hardly and close and open from it self

the bad part comes first - i didn't find a disassembly guide for the htc desire. but if you are careful - you can do it without a guide.
the iportant part is cleaning get some isopropyl alcohol with more than 90% and a soft paintbrush, disassemble the phone and clean the mainboard and all connectors with the alcohol/paintbrush.
the white/greenish residue must be removed.
let the phone dry (don't use a hair dryer)
reassemble it and try to power it on. sometimes the battery gets discharged due the shorted parts so charging might be necessary after the reassembling

My htc touch pro 2 was exposed to saltwater- it was in my backpack as I fell over in my ocean kayak. It was in sleep mode before the exposure. I removed the battery when I got back to my car. When I got home I dunked it in distilled water, put in in rice and let it sit for a few days. It didn't power up, only the red led light came on indicating that there was some kind of hardware failure. I hoped that it was the battery. I bought a new battery- but same thing. So I went for broke. Took out the memory card and battery and sim card. Left the back cover off, slid out the keyboard and dumped my phone again in distilled water and held it under for a few minutes and shook it around. Then I dunked it in 90% rubbing alcohol. I shook it around under the alcohol too and let it penetrate. I took it out, dried it and saw liquid under the screen. I left it on my window sill for three days. The morning sun comes in from there. I put my battery in today and the little sucker powered up and is working again. Can't believe it I thought it was dead for good.
