I am really happy with the fix I just made for a similar problem. After every rain one of my basement walls was was wet. Humid days were tough also. Running dehumidifier and floor blower all day. Lots of electricity.
The other day I went to Home D bought the paint that seals walls and floors Dry Lok. Awesome. Just rained no water humidity went down musty smell gone. Elated.
