iPhone 5c Not Charging, After Replacing Battery & Charging Port
When I plug it in, it shows the empty battery symbol so it's detecting that it's plugged in but it's not charging.
No water damage, no screw damage.
Any ideas?

How long have you had it plugged in? Measure the voltage on the battery, it is possibly defective.

Before hunting for board issues listen to jason's words of wisdom. Charge it for a while if you don't have a multimeter and try another battery
When replacing the battery on the iPhone 5, 5c and 5s some people put to much pressure on the battery's terminal port and that micro-fractures the pins at the sides. This can cause the phone to not charge, home button and or power button to not work. I would check the terminal pins on the side of the iphone's battery port and see if you may have damaged one of these leads.

Why did you replace the battery and the lightning connector to begin with? Did it charge prior to you changing those parts?

Battery was bad and the port was bad. Prior to this it charged.
