old phone is working but new phone shows no service
My first Motorola Razr v3 broke the back piece but was working fine. Bought a new one, but when I put in the charged battery and sim card, shows "no service"?

Mine was doing this recently, after for some forgotten reason I did a factory reset... This worked for me. Hit the middle circle button, go to your settings, then Network Options, then Set Mode. If Home Only is selected, switch it to Standard Scan. I believe if you have it on Home Only, it won't do roaming on "guest networks"; this is just a guess as I am pretty much a noob at cell phones. Just wanted to share what worked for me, good luck!
