Hi Beam headlights won't stay on, only flash?

The 1998 version is based on the original Beetle but, in comparison with the old model of the vehicle, it is way more spacious and equipped with more advanced features.

Hi Beam headlights won't stay on, only flash?

Hi Everyone,

I have a VW New Beetle 2002 and replaced with new the Indicator/High Beam Stalk Switch as the old one was faulty and didn't lock in (when pushed back) for high beam light and hi beam lights didn't work.

Now high beam lights only flash when switch pulled forward but nothing happens when pushed back for hi-beam lights to stay permanently on?

Is it a relay or something else?

Any help would be appreciated.

put in a new bulb for the head light in vw bug 2010. daytime running light on passenger side works but not head light, high or low. can you help me please?
