My computer only turns on with applied pressure, what's wrong?

My MacBook Pro does not turn on unless I apply lots of pressure on the right above the disc-drive. Before, I only had to apply pressure to turn it on and then it would stay on, now it does not stay on unless I apply consistent pressure above the disc-drive. Apple told me I had a faulty Logic Board and my warranty is expired. I feel as if there is some misplaced circuitry in my computer. What Step-by-step guide can I follow to fix my computer so that it can turn on? And what is wrong with my machine?

Thanks guys but I am still wondering how moving the keyboard connection with the computer will help the computer turn on. Would somone mind to elaborate? Thanks.

Try re-seating the keyboard to motherboard cable on the motherboard.

Heres how: MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo Models A1226 and A1260 Keyboard Replacement

UPDATE also take a look at the solder connections on the Power On button and test with a multimeter.

BTW, you dont need to follow the whole thing. just to the step, where it shows how to take the ribbon cable out... thats where you need to replug it...
