Is my A1238 80 Gig. iPod classic "thick" or "thin"?

My iPod looks just like the one in the rather daunting looking tutorial steps on how to replace the battery, except it's got a black face..(When I saw that putty knife come into play, fully expected the next pic I scrolled to to see it between someones teeth!) lol However, not sure if that's a "thick' or "thin" one...HADa really big FAT one before that with just a grey and black screen...OLD school (not color, no pics, just text) is That what we consider a "thick" one??

It would be thin. The 80GB and 120GB classics are always thin, only the 160GB model had a thick and thin version.

And if you had a 160GB model, the best way to find out if it's thick or thin, is to enter the serial number on Apple's website. If it says iPod Classic its thick, if it says iPod Classic (late 2009) it's thin.

Thanks David..like I said, mine looks identical to the one in the instructions, so figured that was the one, but nothing irks me more than ordering the wrong stuff! Already did an iPhone 4 battery from these huys, easy to do, and nice little tool set they sent along as well! Thanks again,
