Broken prongs on the mother board for control board cable.

Others have answered how to replace the control board cable but what about broken prongs on the mother board? I was cleaning my system and went to reattach the control board cable when the prong on the far right fell over dead. It still turns on and off and plays just fine however it won't eject. I manually ejected it via the hidden hole under the front. I can't have it eating Guardians of the Galaxy! Please can one of you brains help me.
