Samsung Galaxy S4 not charging after dropped in water.

I dropped my samsung galaxy s4 in water and now when I connect it to the charger it shows that it is connected but it does not charge the battery. I switched out the battery with a fully charged battery and the phone works perfectly fine.

I believe I have to switch out the usb port. Is this a correct assumption in order to fix my problem?
