Why can't I find my printer

Why can't I find my printer MFC240C on any page. I had it once before as my default printer on 8.1 (I hate it and the Lenovo brand as well). I am , supposedly, back (although I can't get IE to come up right) and it was my default printer. This time around ZERO. I have NOTHING good to say

about Lenovo or 8.1!!!!

Would you believe I have only had this computer for 3 weeks. . .
