home button replacement, will it causes Error 53?

Hello,

I have registered on this site to verify this. I tore my touch ID sensor cable. Touch ID is not a big deal for me. so I ordered a new home flex cable and repaired. It works fine ;). The question is if I am about to update/restore the phone, Will it freeze on Error 53 ?

I know it will brick your iPhone 6 or 6+ if you try to restore it without the original home button. I don't believe it will on the 5s, but it will not restore Touch ID.
