Can my backlight fuse be fixed?
Hi,
so a while ago I spilled coffee on my Macbook Pro retina (15", mid 2012). Long story short, my backlight fuse got burnt out - so there's no backlight, but everything else works fine.
The last person I spoke to about this, recommended to do nothing (rather than changing the whole screen, which would cost a lot + there's a risk my computer might break later on anyways because of the liquid spill).
Since it's been 2 or 3 months, and everything works perfect, I want to ask again - is there a way my backlight fuse could be fixed without changing the screen? Or changing the screen is the only option?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Adina
