Why won't my GoPro Hero turn on?

If you've tried charging it, there could be a few things wrong with your camera. It could be that your battery is dead, or disconnected, in which case you'll need to open it up to find out. If it's dead, you can replace the battery and if it's disconnected, you can reconnect it. It might also be that the camera just isn't charging which could either be your cable or the charging port (part of the daughter board) may be dysfunctional, and luckily both can be replaced very easily. However, if you replace the battery, cable or charging port and it still isn't working, it could be that the circuit board (motherboard) is broken and needs to be replaced.
