The sound from my unit decreases.

Apple A 1121 powered speaker

The sound from my unit decreases until you can't hear it any longer. You can raise it back up but it will once again decrease. Any ideas why? Are parts available for the do-it-yourselfer?

mj, sounds like you may have some bad caps or a bad amplifier IC on your board. Availability of parts is depending on which part you need to replace. you will have to take the device apart and visually inspect and measure the components.
