Help iphone in bits in rebuild after replacing display.
Got to step 19 in the guide where does it connect to the phone can not see an obvious place. I have zoomed in on the images but not able to see where it goes . Help please

The flat paddle goes over the WiFi connector cap, the screw hole goes over the large stand-off screw hole, and the pointed prongs go down into the thin slot at the top there.

This hopefully is the piece you are talking about. It should snap in to the location that I marked off in the photo.

as you can see I have started the rebuild . None of the connections have. Been made just wanted to get this bit right before screwing down the processor . Any tips welcome

Moving on now a bit confused on step 17. The connection marked blue on the guid( power button ) I seam to be a connection short ! I an see the head phone jack connection I have one other cable but the connection looks different than what is on the board . Did I pinch in under the logic board .
Sorry for the slow process I have little time and space. Have attached another pic to show where I am at this point .
Any suggestions welcome

Can you post a picture of the piece you are talking about as well as the current state of the phone?

Yes I can post a photo how does that work in this forum. Iam using an iPad Air

So from your device, if you click on Add Answer it should bring up a text box like this. There should be several little icons at the top of the box, and you will want to click the one that looks like a photograph. This should prompt you to include a photo.
