The lock on the side door panel that allows access to the battery is broken. The side panel will not lock correctly and will not stay sealed.

If the side panel’s locking mechanism is broken the camera loses its waterproof
capabilities. Look at the side panel replacement guide to see how to replace the side
panel door.
