Why isn’t my touchpad working?
When I try to touch or click the touchpad it doesn’t respond, which is really frustrating because now I can’t navigate around my computer.
A 15.6’’ laptop, part of Gateway’s NE series released in June of 2013. Contains a 1.4 GHz AMD E1-2500 dual-core processor, a 500 GB HDD, 4 GB of DDR3 SDRAM, and comes preinstalled with the Windows NT operating system Windows 8.
You may have just accidentally disabled the touchpad. To check if this is the case, look for a button located above the F7-F12 keys. It’ll look like a square with a hand and a plus sign, if the red light is on, then it’s disabled. To fix this, simply press it again to turn it off. After that your touchpad should be working again.
Hope this helps!
