Replaced screen of my phone but screen wont boot up?

I replaced my screen with not too long ago and when i first turned it on my Apple logo with distorted and looked like white squares. I then unplugged the battery since I did not close the screen right away. I remounted the 3 cables that connect from the screen to the logic board. I then turned on the phone and the problem went away. Sadly another one came up. When I went to unlock the phone it didn't pick up the touch. So since I couldn't turn it off I opened up the screen and unplugged the battery cable. Remounted the 3 screen cables and turned on the phone. Failure. The phone did not boot up or so I thought. The screen was black, not a single sign of the phone being on. At this moment I have came back to the phone and plugged it into the computer. The phone has booted up and my computer successfully recognizes it. The problem persists with the screen still being black.
