How do I go about removing it?

I ordered a motherboard knowing that my mobo was shot due to liquid damage. I eventually took it apart and found very bad corrosion underneath the mobo. The xbox would still function and play games but would eventually shut off. So now that i have a new mobo comming my way like an idiot i just noticed that the processor seems to be soldered into the mobo that no longer works...how do i go about removing it and putting it in my new motherboard?

Check with https://www.ifixit.com/User/721921/steve... It seems like he is pretty knowledgeable and may just be the help you need to get it fixed.

mhunt609, this will require a rework station. It is a BGA IC and will require removal with either hot air or IR station. After that you will most likely have to reball it and solder iut back onto the new board.

New Motherboard should have the CPU on it.....I have never ordered a board that didn't have one.
