2002 Honda Civic EX transmission won't go in reverse?

I have a 2002 Honda civic ex I put a new transmission rubild kit an it go in drive an it shifts good but when u put it in revirse its like it binds up an it won't I need help asap thanks

I'm having the same issue. I just rebuilt my own transmission and there is a little piece on top of the synchronizer for reverse and it's very specific so you have to line it up perfectly before putting the case back together. I replaced that part and lined it up right and it goes in reverse now but it still doesn't want to move. It grinds in reverse. If anybody has any information to help us out, please let us know. Thanks
