The 30-pin connector on my iPod Color was seriously damaged, I have a spare iPod Photo, can I replace the broken connector by soldering another one?

It can be replaced but it does require soldering

U can however u need to desolder and solder it back which require some special tools, not to mention the pins are tiny.
