Why don't the blades spin and/or make a noise?
The blades on the NutriBullet refuse to spin and there is no sound coming from the power base.

It sounds like your nutribullet isn't turning on at all. This could be caused by a number of problems.
First, check that you are plugged into a working power outlet. Try plugging in another device and seeing if that device works with that outlet. Once you make sure the outlet is working, the next biggest culprit is a stuck activator button. They can get stuck if sticky juice gets on them and then hardens. You can check the white activator buttons on your device by looking at them and pressing on them with a flathead screwdriver. Finally, if the activators are working, then the motor might need to be replaced. If your nutribullet is still on warranty, then contact magic bullet about a replacement.

I tried the wall outlet with another appliance and it worked. Then I closely examined the main base and noticed that two of the white tabs on the rim were stuck and not moving down when pushed so I used a small screw driver and tapped lightly and the tabs moved. I plugged in and the base worked fine. This unit was almost new ... Only used a few times and very clean. Some liquid must have sealed the tabs.
