Size of the PCIe fan module mounting screws.
I have a 2009 Mac Pro that is missing the two PCIe fan module mounting screws. I believe they are the screw holes towards the top right of the back plane, opposit the PCIe slots. I suspect they are metric.
A little bit of knowledge can be dangerous.
Please give us the last three figures of your serial number so we know which machine you are ranting about.
