I replaced the screen on an Iphone 4S. My problem is that I can see the backlight turning on but no display. When I plug in the old screen it works but still cracked.

If other screen works and the new one doesn't then it's faulty or damaged when installing

Con is correct , the display cables are very fragile if there crimped at all during install it won't work !
