How to rewire old car chargers for micro-USB (Samsung S4 & S5)

Can somebody explain how I can solder the two wires (5v and neutral) from the car charger (+5v & common) to the Micro USB connectors (5 pins) I just got from China for everyone's new phones, Samsung S4, and S5... ?

I looked online and found a lot of information, and tried unsuccessfully several times (couldn't get the "charge" light to energize) and came to the conclusion that there may be some sort of resistor (170K-ohm ?) between the sense and/or ground/power pins. I've gone thru 6 of my 15 connectors already and am ready to have some success!

Can someone please help me out? I just want to be able to repair and re-use all the old car charges lying around here that are putting out +/- 5v but need new plugs for everyone's current needs.

Thanks everyone!
