iPod isn't recognized by windows or itunes help

Hi up until about a month ago my ipod classic 160GB (Model mc297c) was working fine and then iTunes and my pc, my laptop and my brothers laptop stopped recognizing it. If you have any idea of how to help I would be more than greatful, thank you in advanced.
