After reassembling screen to phone (after loud speaker replacement), screen now has dim white vertical lines on right side. I double and triple checked the ribbon connectors but all seems to correct. Any ideas on what has happened and how to fix?

The connection isn't good or you have damaged the LCD. I get it often and is solved by just pressing the connection. Have the screen on and tilt the screen up so you can press on the connection and see the screen at the same time to see if the lines go.

Static lmao that's every ebay sellers first comment if you complain about a bad screen .. Rubbish

lol, that's what I always got told and whenever I reseated the connection it worked so I didn't bother questioning it (seeing as some of the eBay sellers manufacture the screens). guess it wasn't connected properly
