Black Screen, will show on external Moniter.

I have replaced the led board and lcd data cable and the screen will still not light up. I can see it with a flashlight. The screen is getting data and I can Hook it up to an external monitor and the mac will function. Is there anyway to replace the backlight, or fix this without replacing the monitor? there is no sign ofa LIQUID SPILL.

I ran into this last April. RDKL directed me to a much faster way to replace it than the tear down has. The main problem is getting the LV cable into place in the hinge area. Replacing the inverter board charges

I have already replaced the inverter. But it was a dark blue while the one I replaced was light blue. And did no have the same writing on it as the sicker of the former inverter on the back. Would that make a difference?
