HI everybody,
Yesterday the keyboard and the trackpad of my MBA 2013 stopped working simultaneously.
Today, keyboard and the trackpad has worked only for 10 minutes. I only could do clicks with the trackpad but the keyword worked fine.
Could you please shed some light here? As I understand, the keyboard and trackpad has separate connectors.

The machine should run OK with the battery disconnected.

Also try using an external USB keyboard and mouse to help isolate the problem.

This may be caused by a swelling battery - if so it is a dangerous condition and needs to be looked into or eliminated as the cause right away - Li-Ion batteries in this condition are dangerous and could start a fire.
It has been know to happen that a swelling battery presses on, can pinch or otherwise short the trackpad cable.

how can I check if it a battery problem?, Also can I disconect the battery and use MBA only with the AC?
You have to look at the battery with a Mark I eyeball - swelling should be evident at the edges.
