Where is the computer to the transmission located?

The car runs fine but after a while of driving it goes from high gear to low and I can stop and put it in park and cut it off and back on and it will change fine for a little while. I had this similar problem in my 1992 and all I had to do was replace the transmission computer and now it works perfectly so I was thinking this one may have the same problem.

1999 Honda Accord.

Well I took it out and the part has SRS on it instead of PCM is that still the right part?

さんによる

Absolutely NOT correct. The SRS unit controls the air bag system and ONLY the airbag system.

Lamica Stone, the electronic control system consists of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), sensors, and six solenoid valves. Shifting and lock-up are electronically controlled for comfortable driving under all conditions. The PCM is located below the dashboard, under the front lower panel behind the center console.

Also pulling the fuse, resets the computer as I understand it. But as you described.... I wound up redoing the Tranny. PCM is easy to get to and remove. However, KNOW!!! they are keyed to the ignition! Can't put a new one in unless Honda hooks the new one up to a computer and downloads your configuration into it. You'll be DEAD. $100 is the charge. VIN will reference the correct part number. But it is on the side as well (even better) There's a couple of excellent cross reference sites. I may even have a PCM
