Assuming you are not using a sub make sure your setting recognize your speaker large speakers. It will be under an option called something like "speaker setup". If set to "small", or the crossover is set to 100 or 80 or whatever, then the reciever isn't even sending low end signals to them. Make sure they are set to "large".
