GT 1900 screen repair
We tried to replace the outer screen only however it seems that the display isn't working anymore. We did not try attaching the screen with the loca glue yet. Do you think we need to purchase a new display ?

You may have fractured the LCD if you were doing a glass lens removal. It happens. At this point, you are looking at a full display assembly repair. You could possibly buy the LCD by itself and fuse them together, but at this point it would be quicker and better to install a full assembly.

You have broken the LCD. This is why this repair is left to people who are experienced, not really a DIY repair. The LCD replacement is actually really simple but it's going to cost you £60 for a new LCD (3rd party)
