How to fix my iPod's screen?

So I dropped my ipod in a toilet a little more then a year ago now. It was already badly cracked and the top part where the camera was completely exposed. We put it in rice and eventually all we had to do was reset it. Now, today, after it was left for months, dead and hadn't got around to actually setting it up. I went to charge it and it turns on after making the charging noise and has a Siri like voice that says the date, time and whenever I touch the lower part of the ipod screen it says slide to unlock. How do I fix it so the ipod screen works again??
