iPhone 5s is not charging at all
iphone 5s is not charging at all.
i switched the charge port and the battery but it doesn't seem to work.
What can it be?

Here's a good test to see if the replacement charge port you installed is not faulty:
-Unplug battery but make sure everything else is plugged in (display, charge port)
-Plug the iphone into a charger as if you were charging the device
-If your port is good (and there are no other issues such as corrosion, missing fuse/relay/etc), the screen should kick on as if booting normally.
Now, if your screen didn't turn on, there could be other issues here. There could have been some board damage that is preventing the device from receiving a charge. If this is the case, then I would need some more information to give a further diagnosis. Good luck!

Hi Eric.
I have the same problem. If i turn on the phone, plug the charging cable in an disconnect the battery - the phone goes out. But it register the cable and show the chargeing sign, but it does not tranfer any power. The problem started after a display change.

Dirt was in the connection port. I followed instructions to clean it out and it still will not recognize the charger.

Hello, i have the same problem after water damage. I cleaned all the components and the logic board. It seems that the water was floaded into the upper back side where the star shape is visible on the metal. I do not no how to open these soldered metal, but any way it won't startup, so i guess and hope that some fuse(s) are damaged. Do you know where these fuses are located, i don't have schematic of this board.
