Blank screen and bonging after it turned on.

I replaced the front panel LCD digitizer on my iPhone 5. Before closing it up all the way I turn it on and it worked perfectly. Turned it off and put the shield for the display flex cables back on and closed it all up and tried to turn it on again and nothing. I just have a blank screen and the bonging noise every second or so. Any ideas what happened? I really need help on this one. I have tried to power cycle it, drain the power, disconnect the battery and reconnect, disconnect the display and the battery and reconnect, I am trying to restore the phone to see if that will do anything. I just am hoping that something didn't go wrong with the digitizer or something and now I have to get a new one.
