Hello,

does anyone knows if it is possible to change the ssd of the macbook pro retina 13" 2014 mid-late. It is the latest version you can buy in the apple store.

The instruction here says it is possible, but when I check the webside of OWC or Transcend. They say it is not possible now.

I am confuse. maybe one of you have information or can give me a supplier who is supporting this macbook pro. I am looking for an ssd approx. 500GB

Both answers are correct! Yes & No ;-}

The Yes is related to the fact it can be removed (not soldered in)

The No is there is no available 3rd party replacement available (no one offers them yet).

But you might find a few from systems which were torn down for parts. But, these are real Apple SSD units being sold.
